Sustainability Senior Transformation Manager (The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. - Bethesda, MD): Lead the Net-Zero programís central coordinating team, including line management of support team. Specific job duties include: structuring and driving BCGís Carbon Reduction Program, a critical pillar of the firmís Net-Zero strategy, in close partnership with Regions, Systems, Practice Areas, Global Functions and Special Business Units; partnering with clients to drive climate action, shaping the global agenda through thought leadership, and managing environmental impacts; developing and maintaining the overall program plan and controls; identifying and resolving issues and providing guidance and support to working teams across regions; defining the programís governance structure and ensuring alignment across the firm; developing and managing an effective stakeholder engagement plan and ensuring relevant parts of the organization are mobilized for success; monitoring progress, managing risks, resolving issues and reporting at regular intervals to relevant stakeholders; planning and designing the program to meet approved emission reduction objectives; ensuring effective quality assurance frameworks are applied; maintaining focus on continuous improvement; developing structures to facilitate information flow and ensure best practices are socialized across the regions. Requires a Masterís degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus ten (10) years of experience designing and leading corporate transformation programs. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): driving innovation to influence strategic decisions and to provide solutions to address business problems and strategic imperatives; managing large projects and applying project management tools and methodologies within fast paced, service-oriented environment; conducting advanced quantitative analysis e.g. economic and financial analysis like competitive cost and decision analysis, analysis of seasonal effects on financial forecasts and capabilities assessments; conducting advanced analysis of the impact of uncertainties on business outcomes and tailoring plans and initiatives to address these uncertainties; consulting in large transformation programs including case for change definition, value mapping, program design and setup, roadmapping, PMO, initiatives and KPIs tracking and systematic change management; and managing complex governance structures with multiple layers, stakeholders, decisions makers, parties involved and impacted, through systematic decision rights, roles and responsibilities.
