Page Personnel are delighted to be partnered with our client in recruiting an exceptional opportunity for a part-qualified accountant. This role will provide an opportunity to produce management accounts and month-end duties.

Our client is a market leading & innovative business that is currently thriving. They are based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre with easy access for transport.

Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

Full ownership of the monthly management accounting cycle for your clients
Posting journals, accruals & prepayments
Supporting in P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow
Producing transactional finance for clients including purchase ledger and reconciliations
Support the work of junior staff, and be willing to devote time to coach and develop them
Work closely with the Finance Operations team to ensure efficiency of the Purchase to Pay cycle and accurate recording of accruals and prepayments
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and audit requirements by maintaining robust controls
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, initiating ideas to develop processes and controls.
Liaise with auditors during client's external audits.Profile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

ACCA part-qualified and actively studying is essential
Knowledge of producing monthly management accounts
Able to work on own initiative and work as a team
Strong communications skills
Systems knowledge, Microsoft office & excelJob Offer

This role offers a competitive salary between 24,000-27,000 plus benefits
