Duties
Utilizing Amazon Web Services technologies to build software and systems that drive elasticity into network design, architecture, operations, deployment, scalability and capacity forecasting and provisioning to improve cost structures. Understanding network capacity planning to lead the integration of technical solutions that simplify processing, optimize network capacity and improve/increase network availability and performance for customers. Collecting forecasting information from external teams to provide output plans to the Network Business Operations Team. Providing operational support and addressing defects while changing and reporting various requests. Driving consensus on proposed solutions with all stakeholders, including principal engineers while implementing these solutions. Mentoring high performing junior engineers.

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Seven years of experience in the position offered or a position in a related occupation. Seven years of experience must include:
• Developing and writing code using any object-oriented programming language;
• Leading team of engineers to deliver software products to internal and external customers;
• Designing complex software systems;
• Managing stakeholder expectations through regular communication and reporting;
• Maintaining and troubleshooting production systems;
• Mentoring junior engineers.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and seven years of experience, as stated above, will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent and three years of experience.
