Title: Test Engineer Location: Kent, WA On-site Visa: US citizen or Green Card holder Duration: 6 Pulse months Moi: Skype Job Description: Responsibilities: Serve as responsible engineer for electrical system EME test and verification Provide EME documentation describing system test strategies, requirements decomposition, and margin management Develop Test Plans and Test Procedures for executing EMI/EMC tests on avionics components Operate and maintain EMI/EMC test equipment Interface with internal customers to facilitate integration of customer equipment with EMI lab equipment Produce and standardize test reports to demonstrate EMI/EMC standard compliance to internal and government customers Collaborate with customers on troubleshooting EMI/EMC test failures and anomalies and recommend corrective actions Develop design solutions to integrated system trades for EMI/EMC, lightning, ESD and RF Contribute to vehicle, system, and component level requirements and verification for EMI/EMC, lightning, ESD, and RF Perform risk reduction testing for EME based on industry standards Qualifications: Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline 5 years industry experience in aerospace system electrical design and verification Demonstrated small team technical leadership EMI,EMC,EME test background Working knowledge of and experience with MIL-STD-461G and DO-160G Ability troubleshoot test related issues down to the component level Ability to support long hours and weekend shifts during critical test campaigns Willingness to travel to support customer test activities
