Third shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am (please note that third shift starts Monday 11pm so they finish Saturday 7 am)Twist, braid or cable insulated wire. The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Oversee the operation of machine according to job specifications. Completion of operator checklist continuously during process operation. Load reel of insulated wire onto machine. Unload reel of wire from machine once process is completed. Attend to any mechanical problems promptly as they arise. Occasionally assist in training of co-workers in the process. Accurately complete required reports, including production reporting, scrap reporting and non-conformity tagging. Maintain continuous attention to safety and product quality standards. Meet required productivity targets for operation. Manage schedule requirements and execute administrative tasks to meet requirements. Support HOS/continuous improvement activities. Reports to Production Supervisor . Experience Previous experience in manufacturing, equipment operation or warehouse setting desirable; must be 18 years of age. Required: Continuous standing and walking throughout standard 8 hour shift, plus any overtime required. Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs. Willingness to express ideas verbally. Ability to make decisions and solve problems. Must be able to successfully operate in a team environment. Desire to be part of a team that works in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
