Bachelor's Degree Required Location: (Hybrid) Washington D.C. On-side work and remotely. Provide Java development support in requirements gathering, development, quality assessment, testing, deployment of new web applications, maintenance of existing and new applications. Requirements * Proficient in Java web application development. * Proficient in Javascript/JQuery * Familiarity of frameworks such as Spring. * Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, PHP and Ruby. * Knowledge of AJAX and scaling issues of public facing websites and applications. * Worked with automated software unit and functional testing (JUnit, HTMLUnit, etc) * Knowledgeable of database technologies (Oracle preferred) * Knowledgeable of Object-Relational Mapping tools (Hibernate, JPA, ActiveRecord, etc). * Experience with NoSQL technologies (Redis, Solr) desired * Solid analytical and problem solving skills. * Excellent oral and written communication skills.
