SUMMARY:
Software testing of software developed by Canon USA Digital Imaging Solutions, including creating test documents and test execution throughout the software life cycle

JOB DUTIES:
Duties involved testing of the CIIS DIS developed software on multiple projects:

• Test, analyze and troubleshoot software issues.
• Work closely with the software development team in Irvine.

REQUIREMENTS:
• BS in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in QA/Test Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in Windows testing, including experience in Windows server setup and configuration
• Testing experience with Web applications and Web services
• Working experience with System testing, Hardware/Software Integration testing
• Working experience with Software GUI testing
• Working experience creating Test Planning and Test Specification documents
• Proficiency in using common office tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio…)
• Skilled in working on QA projects using current QA management tools (defect tracking, report generation, automation…)
• Ability to work independently, effectively managing your time to meet product delivery and quality objectives
• Proven ability to communicate effectively (oral, written and via email)
• Strong analytical, problem solving, decision-making and negotiating skills
• Good interpersonal skills: teamwork, respect, tact and discretion
• Demonstrate a positive attitude even under pressure
• Excellent attention to details

OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Working Experience in Design Verification Testing (DVT) and white-box testing
• Working experience with LAN/WAN network topologies and troubleshooting
• Working experience with Test Automation

This position offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday with an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
