About the Role

Glassdoor is looking for a Product Designer, whos hardworking and excited about solving complex problems and building experiences that will delight people worldwide. You'll be working on the B2C team, building products, and features to help career conscious job seekers find a job that they love. We want to provide our users with not only an exceptional search experience, but also provide insight and career advice to match people with the right job based on who they are, and what they need. You will work on a product that will directly impact more than 70 million users a month as we build the next generation of Glassdoor products.

What You'll Do

Your job will be to deeply understand the customer and build products that are intuitive, accessible, and usable for our millions of users. You will design the Glassdoor consumer experience for complex projects with a broad scope and evolving objectives. You will contribute to the overall B2C product strategy through investigative research, concept generation, prototyping, and delivering high fidelity design concepts that inform development. You will ensure cohesive user experiences across Glassdoor platforms by actively participating in the evolution of Glassdoor's design system. You will work closely with:


Product Management and Engineering colleagues to bring concepts to market

Members of the Product Design team as a collaborator of the highest design standards

UX and Market researchers to run experiments to test your designs

Go-to-market team to understand employer needs and experiences with our products

What Youll Bring


Preferred 3-5 years of relevant experience within product and responsive web design

A portfolio demonstrating experience in UX, visual design, and interaction design for responsive, desktop, and mobile experiences. B2B experience is a plus!

The ability to take broad conceptual ideas and define them into a useful and valuable product experience.

An understanding of user-centered design principles.

Ability to use data and research to inform your design thinking and final solution.

Proven ability to collaborate and to communicate ideas and design rationale.

Experience using design tools including Figma and Sketch.

Experience working with design systems.

Experience designing, implementing and testing new or revised information architecture and navigation.

Experience working in an agile development process and or an iterative UX environment.

Outstanding organization and project management skills, with great attention to detail.

Strong desire to add to our culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.


Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $96,000 - $144,000

Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.

Annual Bonus Target**: 10%

**Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews

Generous Restricted Stock Units (RSU):

***Restricted Stock Units (RSU) are awarded at hire and may be refreshed annually. Additionally, as a pay-for-performance company, RSU grant awards are presented bi-annually to exceptional performers.
