As a Sr. Report Analyst, youll have the opportunity to become a strategic business partner within a team supporting the client relationship focused on our Key and National Accounts. You will use data analytics to identify client health plan expense savings opportunities and make recommendations on solutions that aligns with the organizations capabilities. As a key resource, you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines. Success in this role will require ability to think analytically, be flexible, dynamic, self-driven, and deliver high quality work!

Primary Responsibilities:



Intake reporting requests, understand requestors needs / intent, and produce informative, meaningful and actionable results

Provide analytical explanations, interpretations, and recommendations for data results

Provide consultative responses, via web or in person, to clients to help them better understand the health plan and their evolving needs

Work collaboratively to translate complex data analytics into a meaningful data story

Required Qualifications:



Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience

3+ years of experience preparing reports.

3+ years of financial, analytical or data manipulation

Experience in healthcare/health insurance industry

Moderate skills in Microsoft Excel (i.e. V-lookups, pivot tables and conditional formulas) and Power Point

Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:



Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, or Health Administration, Nursing

Medical Coding Certification (through AAPC or AHIMA)

Knowledge of PBM, Pharmacy claims, and benefit structure

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy (specifically focused on calculations, interpretation, and presentation)

Ability to work productively and proactively in a dynamic, fast paced and constantly changing environment

Analytical thinker, with ability to quickly grasp complex issues and problem solve

Solid organizational skills to track requests and deliverables, and meet deadlines

Adaptable to work independently and in a group setting to achieve overall departmental goals

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
