Job Title: Network Cable Technician

Location: Boise, ID

Onsite: From Day1

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Demonstrate the ability to assign extensions in the phone system.
• Daily duties include completing work request for cable and telephone installation and repair.
• Avaya Administration to include setting up phone service with voice-mail.
• Attending area coordination meetings and interfacing with area coordinators to ensure that the areas communication needs are met.
• Perform link failure audits on network switches.
• Individuals must possess above average communications skills and speak fluent English.
• This position requires telephony skills such as but not limited to adherence to NEC regulations for cable application requirements, cable installation, termination and testing standards, coupled with the ability to perform such functions in a proper manner. Individuals must also possess the ability to properly discern colors, climb ladders, lift at least 50 pounds and work in somewhat claustrophobic conditions.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding network communications.
• Communicate and collaborate with peer groups (enterprise architects, security team, server team, etc.).
