This role is for a Skilled Leads developer who will assist with the development, testing, and implementation of new computer systems.

Payroll Software Specialist
On Site position


Roles and Responsibilities:
Analyzes end users' business needs, evaluates scope for automation of manual process and/or enhances existing automated system through modification or replacement.
Maintains existing systems by problem resolution and minor modifications to systems.
Researches and develops new methods, tools and techniques to improve system speed, increase program productivity, and reduce costs.
Maintains technical knowledge across a variety of hardware/software disciplines, and leads others in applying these technologies
Develops and maintains a detailed knowledge of a variety of NJ Transit information systems.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent
Five (5) or more years of experience in system development and design.
Degree may be substituted by two (2) additional years of related experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
Must be experienced with SQL, Oracle, MS Access, MS Excel, VB, VBA, VBScript, .Net
Knowledge of AWS, web services, Oracle tools (SQL Developer, SQLLoader, SQL Plus)
Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively (both written and oral) to all staff levels.
