We Have An Urgent Requirement On SDET Automation Engineer

Role: SDET Automation Engineer

Job Location: Phoenix, AZ ( Preferably west coast candidates)-Onsite/initial remote

1. Primary Skill: SDET position who can write automation scripts using Java. Heavy focus on automation needed which the customer looking at achieving 80% automation. Spark Current automation framework is in Cucumber and being evaluated to see if different framework is needed.
2. Good to have basic Big data platform- Hadoop/cloudera

Technical Expertise

• 8 years' experience developing software or test automation frameworks using one of the programming language Java, Ruby, Node.js or Objective C. Java is preferred.
• Prior experience with established Software development tools( GIT, Eclipse/Android Studio/X-Code)
• Cucumber/Selenium/ Rest-Assured API (must), Spock and/or Jira/ Appium, Web driver
• Good understanding of Kafka, Spark, SQL Scripting and event streaming
• Unix Scripting
• Experience in building and executing automated and performance tests for REST and XML/SOAP/JSON based services.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with web technologies HTTP, HTML, XML, JSON, SQL, Java Script, Node.js
• Experience automating big-data pipelines and platforms
• Experience in generating large volume of synthetic data
• Understanding of data automation processes, developing automation scripts, integration testing and performance testing
• Knowledge in Cloudera, HBase, Hadoop and Elastic Search is a plus
• Mobile programming (Android or iOS/Swift) experience is a bonus and preferred.
• Experience implementing test automation frameworks for web or mobile platforms (hybrid, iOS or Android) using any test automation tools Appium, Selenium, Web driver, Rest-Assured API, and Cucumber.
• Experience with Device Cloud Providers: Perfecto Mobile, Device Anywhere, Amazon Device Farm.
• Passion to work independently on diverse problems and resolve challenges on a daily basis.
• Agile/Lean methodologies experience preferred.
• Security testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of Performance/Load Testing is a plus.
