Island Health provides a nurturing work environment for its exceptional staff of caring professionals. Looking for a Lab Supervisor for a 13 week travel contract. WA license required. Island Health is a a 43-bed rural hospital, our extensive range of services is nothing short of remarkable. Ideal Candidate will have experience in the following areas: POC - Point of CareLab QualityBlood BankCall off/Flexing - There will be up to 36 hours of flexing or call off available to the facility during the course of the assignment. Additional open shifts can be scheduled by request of the traveler. Floating - When needed, the traveler will float to any areas of the facility where skills can be utilized prior to flex off. Unit orientation and just in time training will be offered prior to the first assignment. Facility Schedule: Monday SundayCOVID PROTOCOL:MUST HAVE COVID-19 VACCINE SERIES COMPLETE.If there is any kind of religious or medical declinations they will need to go through our internal exemption review process per the Governors mandate.Full vaccination is achieved two weeks following the second dose of Pfizer BioNTech or Moderna vaccine or two weeks following the single dose of the Johnson&Johnson/Janssen vaccine. The following may be used as proof of immunization: CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or photo of the card; Documentation of vaccination from a health care provider or electronic health record; or State immunization information system record.
