The Ultrasonographer is responsible for performing ultrasound examinations to assist with diagnosis or treatment. Candidates must have the ability to obtain sonograms on various age groups and patients, must demonstrate independent judgement when performing procedures, evaluate images for technical quality, and provide an exemplary care experience reflective of the Island Hospital Promise.Requirements:A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in General, OB/GYN, Breast and Vascular ultrasound required.ARDMS Certification required, RVT Certification preferred.BLS Certification (link removed)ll of/Flexing There will be up to 36 hours of flexing or call off available to the facility during the course of the assignment. Additional open shifts can be scheduled by request of the traveler. Floating. When needed, the traveler will float to any areas of the facility where skills can be utilized prior to flex off. Unit orientation and just in time training will be offered prior to the first assignment. Guarantee of Hours Guarantee of hours (if listed on the budget section in Medefis) will only apply when traveler is willing and able to work guaranteed shifts. The guarantee does not apply if the traveler is sick or unwilling to work their shifts, or requests to be off work.Facility Schedule: Monday Sunday
