Please ensure credentials will be received timely. Recruiting for a California certified Lab Assistant (CPT-1) to start work AS AP, for 3 12 hour shifts, Thursday-Saturday. The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for all aspects of specimen collection, receiving, handling, and processing. This includes transferring ordered tests to the LIS (Laboratory Information System) or appropriate lab slips, processing billing information and charging. The Laboratory Assistant is also responsible for the labs clerical and phone duties. Overtime after 40 hours in a work week. Please refer to Medefis master agreement.
