Software Engineer

Position Summary

Responsible for the development, calibration, and test of vehicle functional control system software.



Position Responsibilities

Design, develop, and release designated control software for various controllers

Work with key suppliers to create and improve select firmware to improve product performance
Work with service engineering to address key customer needs and issues
Work with sales to understand customer needs and create market driven design solutions
Work with peer engineers to ensure hardware and software solutions are integrated into the vehicle seamlessly (i.e., including propulsion, hydraulic, pneumatic, and cab systems)
Ensure projects are completed to targets (cost, performance, timing)
Communicate project progression via internal project management tools
Develop technology roadmap for designated systems and hardware/software
Position scope may grow to include additional vehicle systems as needed.
Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university

Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well independently and with a team
Proficiency with C language.
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have

Previous product development experience
Master’s degree in Engineering.
