Job Description:
Provides all pre and post technical and applications engineering assistance to sales representatives, distributors, agents, contractors, consulting engineers, architects, sales offices and internal departments.
  • Provides technical support to engineers, sales representatives, distributors, contractors, end-users and internal departments via phone, letter, video conference, chat, e-mail, or in person.
  • Provides troubleshooting assistance to above noted parties in summary for problems involving control system, combustion, venting and piping on commercial and residential boilers.
  • Advise and assist field sales personnel and their clients on product technical details, application requirements, etc. to obtain solutions of specific application problems.
  • Provide parts identification assistance to distributors, contractors, internal personnel, agents, etc.
  • Documents job site problems in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or product complaints from engineers, distributors, sales representatives, contractors, and internal departments as required.
Requirement:
  • Base education required is high school graduate or equivalent with previous experience.
  • Professional technical school training, an Associate Degree, or a Bachelors Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of boilers, related products, controls and control wiring and systems is preferred.
  • Experience in same field or related is helpful but not mandatory
  • Training and or experience with use of desktop PC or laptop, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Skype).
  • Training or experience with use of CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or (link removed)
  • Experience using call center software, such as Zendesk or Xima
  • Experience using visual support tools, such as TechSee or Sightcall
