Our client, a world leader in the Semiconductor industry, is looking for a "Manufacturing - Production Planner"

Job Title: Manufacturing- Production Planner 3

Duration: Long Term Contract

Location: Totowa, NJ

Roles and Responsibilities:

Create Production Orders

Create Shipping Check List for systems

Create Production Orders for Vendors upon request from Purchasing

Update existing Production Orders upon request or per ECO implementation & communicate the changes to Production & Stock

Maintain and update "PrO" file

Checking BOM and update BOM set up for new, released systems before moving to Production stage

Create new and update existing Part Number, Revision, BOM for ZQPR*, TF*, TFA*, FA*, D-PM*, D-SPL*, etc.

Schedule sub-assemblies

Work with Master Schedule in coordinating build plan

Schedule cabinet delivery plan

Education, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree
Five years' experience in a manufacturing environment working with an ERP/MRP system
Computer Skills: AX/SAP/Excel
Soft Skills: Ability to communicate with cross functional teams (production, stock room, engineering, project management etc)
Lean manufacturing exposure a plus
Knowledge of Kanban and the use of them in a planning model
