Our client,a world leader in Biotechnology & BioPharmaceuticals, is seeking an experienced "Supply Chain Specialist - II".
JOB TITLE : Supply Chain Specialist - II
DURATION : Long Term Contract On W2
LOCATION : Oceanside, CA (Onsite/Hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute raw materials plan, placing purchasing orders, follow up on open order
- Collaborate with suppliers and Global Sourcing to ensure on time delivery
- Report and escalation on material supply issue and constrains including root cause and preventive actions
- Assure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year in supply chain or related discipline or 2 years+ of operations or supply chain experience at a pharmaceutical, biotech or medical company
- Working knowledge and understanding of current Code of the Federal Regulations (CFR's) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's)
- Experience with Oracle EBS, SAP or similar is strongly preferred
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- APICS certification and/or relevant coursework
