A clinic in Texas is seeking a Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to provide quality patient care for a Locum Tenens assignment.

Assignment

• Dates: ASAP, full-time ongoing, 2 months with possible extension
• Schedule: Full-time. M-F 8a-8p. Alternate to work 1 weekend per month. Sat-Sun 9a-6p. Holidays: Easter closed.
• Setting: Outpatient
• Call: No
• Volume: 50-60
• Patient Ages: All ages. Providers' preferences will be considered when assigned patients.
• Procedures: Lacerations, I&D, toe nail removal, simple fractures, physical exams
• Cases: General urgent care, Xray, labwork, wounds, burns, minor fractures, flu, strep throat, etc.
• Support Staff: MAs & CTs at every clinic, managers at each clinic, Medical Director floats
• EMR/Charting: Experity

Requirements

• Boards: Board Certified
• Certifications: ACLS; BLS; DEA; DOT
