Position: Sr Wireless Network Engineer Location : Oklahoma (Day 1 Onsite) Duration: Full Time Client : Tech Mahindra/Integris Job Description: Understanding of WLAN protocols and adjacent technologies Experience with a deep understanding of Cisco network elements, Wireless Controllers & Access Points Devise, plan, deploy, and improve wireless networks from the beginning to implementation by collaborating with vendors, managers, and network engineers. Need to have worked on WLC deployment and Wireless Troubleshooting hands-on experience Sound knowledge and deploying troubleshooting of Cisco Prime wireless heat maps, wireless controller series 5500, 5520, 2504, WiSM2 Should have planned AP deployments and remote firmware update Design and validate the performance, quality, and reliability of the RF link. Design and implement WLANs and other wireless networks. Sound experience with RF site survey and Familiarity with RF tools like Airmagnet, Ekahau Conduct site surveys to include wireless RF coverage assessments and the physical location of equipment. Optimize network performance by supervising performance, addressing network problems and breakdowns, and partnering with network engineers to optimize the network. Make sure that all equipment, including servers and the other network products, are well-connected. Devise and support radio frequencies (RF) link performance, reliability, and quality. Handhold other in-house engineers to train them on wireless technologies Collaborate with different teams to ensure the optimized performance of VoIP and other wireless telecommunication devices. Design and deploy changes to the configurations as per the applicable change management process. Make use of testing and diagnostic tools to assess and modify equipment. PKI, certificate, online cert responders - Nice to have Should have expert-level knowledge with a complete understanding of infrastructure engineering life cycle (Design, Implementation, Migration and Support) for Multi-Vendor networks, Security Need to be well versed with LAN, WAN, Wireless and Data Centre Network support (incident, problem management etc, Transformation and Migration projects. Troubleshooting of Catalyst / Nexus switches, Wireless controllers, Access Points, ASR / ISR routers. Need to be well versed with Data Centre Consolidation, Transformation and Migration projects. Managing complex migration and implementation plans for heterogeneous network environments. Candidate should have excellent communication and documentation.
