On behalf of our client, a large, successful, privately held wholesale distribution and marketing company that sells tires and wheels of all sizes and types we are seeking a CFO with deep financial leadership experience specifically with large, privately held organizations who operate multiple divisions and have high working capital needs.

This is a critical role in which you will oversee the team of finance and accounting professional, improve the company’s financial processes, reporting, data and analytics, and work with other company executives on acquisitions and other special projects.

This role is a hybrid (3 days onsite each week) in their South Bay area office (Los Angeles County). 

The salary for this role ranges from $275,000-$325,000 annually plus benefits. 

What You Will Do:

• Oversee and develop strategies for finance, credit, accounting, inventory, banking and BP&A functions
• Have a deep understanding of working capital and capital management
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s financial strategy
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduce of new programs/strategies and regulatory oversight
• Develop and advise on cost and departmental structure for proper P&L reporting
• Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis and visibility of budgets and financial reports that will assist the president, board and other senior managers in managing the P&L
• Enhance, develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company
• Act as a mentor on financial issues for the board and President

What Gets You The Job: 

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of related experience
• 5+ years’ experience in leadership/management role
• Very strong operational and strategic acumen. This role is more focused on strategy than operations.
