Flooring Contractor – Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator position will work with the Project Managers/Estimators on staff to ensure the flow of the documents by performing the following job duties. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. On the job, training is provided. This position is in-office Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30pm.
• Create accurate physical and electronic files. Update files as needed.
• Research product documentation and file in the job folder. IE: Specs, Installation guides, SDS, Maintenance guides and warranties.
• Send the completed submittal/transmittal cover letter to be reviewed by the Project Manager on staff. Once approved completed the PDF by adding the researched documents to the PDF. Highlight and mark-up, necessary information and create bookmarks. Once completed send the file to the respective General Contractor.
• Create labels for file and samples in triplicate.
• Order product sample, label samples, ship samples or request a delivery of samples from the field team. Order samples for the company warehouse.
• Create PDF submittals/transmittal for the related work scope. Update the transmittal when products are changed or selected.
• Create AHA’s, competent person letters, company warranty letters and safety letters for
• Submittal packages for the General Contractor.
• Request site access/clearance to get field crew on the federal job site.
• Ability to create product LEEDS or willingness to learn.
• Create Approvals and Material Tracking Request Forms, update as necessary.
• Liaise with General Contractors and Federal agencies to obtain site access.
Experience desired:
Word and Excel
Procore/Prolog or similar project management services is desired
Adobe or FoxIt PDF
Multiline phones
Researching projects or information
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
Experienced Project Coordinator
High School Graduate. Some experience. Related degree is desirable
