Position available for Senior Software Engineer with MWRESOURCE, Inc. Responsible for coordinating with and supporting development teams for clients consisting of major Independent Service Organizations and Regional Transmission Organizations; development and maintenance of these organizations’ systems and processes for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment of electric energy, market interfaces and tools used by electric energy participants to manage assets, submit bids, and obtain market results and related reports; Duties include set-up and maintenance of the Continuous Integration Environment including source code management and build tools for all product lines; support and administer ancillary development support tools; assist in releases and code promotion management activities including Tag release artifacts; Create detailed release documentation; Automating post release testing/validation; Administer and provide support for current and future application server platforms; Develop interfaces for the services/tools that the development operations department provides and supports; Improve quality and stability of software and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments; Develop and support Continuous Delivery Platform and Configuration Management Tools; Automate manual release or deployment tasks; and Communicate with development and operations staff to ensure smooth execution of development activities. Position requires Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or foreign educational equivalent; 0.5 years’ work experience in software development for settlement and financial applications and processes for a Regional Transmission Organization; 1.5 years’ work experience automating testing and deployment processes using TeamCity; 1.5 years’ work experience developing, integrating, maintaining, and upgrading web applications using Tomcat servers; 1 year of work experience tracking and managing source code changes using Git; 0.5 years’ work experience tracking software bugs using JIRA; 0.5 years’ work experience using Maven to develop and enhance financial applications.
