Performs technical skills and provides assistance to physicians, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other professionals in the cath lab and Imaging. Performs similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of endovascular and complex interventional radiology procedures. Prepare and position patients for procedures. Establishes and maintains sterile field and assures team maintains sterile environment. Has knowledge of specialized vascular, cardiology and interventional radiology supplies. Understands the unique application of these supplies. Ensures all necessary equipment and supplies are in the room prior to the start of a case and preemptively update preference cards as changes are made. Observe doses, recorder and video screens on the cath lab system during imaging procedures to assure patient safety and changes in patient's responses to treatment.
