Location: Tallahassee, FL - (Remote Initially)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Role Description

Proven experience as a technical manager, leading technical staff through business-critical operations.
Proven experience implementing security practices meeting CJIS requirements.
Proven experience leading enterprise-level multi-tenant cloud infrastructure.
Proven experience mentoring technical supervisors and support engineers.
Proven experience in LAN and WAN platforms
Proven experience in designing, documenting, planning, and implementing LAN and WAN products
Thorough understanding of modern service provider TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to: MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP4, STP, RSTP, 802.1q, 802.1ah, ADSL2+
Superior knowledge, skills, and experience with Cisco routing hardware, software, protocols, etc.

Required Experience:

7+ years experience of creating comprehensive implementation, test, and back out plans of new LAN and WAN products
7+ years experience in network performance analysis, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning
7+ years experience of writing technical and procedural documentation
Proven ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to network infrastructure
In-depth knowledge of network communications including LAN, WAN, firewall, and related technologies
In-depth knowledge of VPN technologies
Proven knowledge and experience in network encryption technologies, including IPSEC
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of data privacy and protection initiatives
Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies
Must possess Cisco Gold Partner Certification
