(Saturdays occasionally as needed)Paid Training!GREAT BENEFITS INCLUDING 401K MATCHING UP TO 6%BONUSES WITH CERTAIN POSITIONS.Free Espresso, coffee, cappuccino and hot chocolate unlimitedFree company name t ShirtIn the key role you will:Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.Train and coach production line employees.Conduct employee performance reviews.Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.Start each day with a smile and positive attitude & keep that going all day!!Support process improvement activities - we want your ideas!!Consult with Human Resources as appropriate.Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels.Schedule and conduct shift meetings.Responsible to meet shift production goals.Work with QA Dept. to ensure products are being made to customer specifications.Ensures compliance with SQF level code of practice and HACCP regulations and programs.Responsible for quality control. Adjust as necessary during the shift to producing products within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis(JSAs).Communicate with other Shift SupervisorsMotivate the Team with good jokes!Bring Value to Everything You Do Each Day!Ensure a clean and safe work area.Assure shift paperwork is completed in a timely and accurateAssist in production as necessary.RequirementsKnowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery - two to five years of manufacturing experience.Demonstrate full knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures.Demonstrate knowledge of safety in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work well with changing priorities and situations.Must be a creative and flexible (link removed)puter proficient (Word, Excel, E-mail).Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes, and principles is required.Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.Knowledge of Lean practices and continuous improvement initiative a plusProven Critical Thinking and problem-solving skillsManual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computers.Ability to stand, reach, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull lift up to 50 p
