Hourly Rate: $59 W2; $68 CTC/1099
Job Description:
Note: Initially candidate may work remotely 3 days/week and in-office 2 days/week. When the State of NJ goes back to working On-site full-time on September 1, 2021, the Contractor will also be immediately required to work ON-SITE full-time. No Exceptions.
The successful candidate will have 5 or more years of relevant development VB.NET (11.0 or higher) /ASP.NET experience and should also possess the following qualities:
Possesses a self-starter work ethic to learn the business context quickly and immediately make an impact by delivering solutions in a short-time frame.
Has a solid knowledge of SQL Server database technologies, particularly experience with SQL queries and SSRS.
Able to analyze business requirements to determine appropriate solutions for the customer's needs.
Capable of estimating and scheduling one's own work to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Able to provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Experience performing functional testing and debugging.
Able to investigate operational or systematic problems and evaluate user questions as needed.
Demonstrates the ability to follow all department standards and methodologies.
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Capable of interacting and communicating effectively with all levels of staff, management and other customers.
Able to communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and verbally, in one-on-one and group presentation situations.
Able to work well both individually and in a highly collaborative team environment.
Required Skills:
Visual Basic11 or later (5 years) ASP.NET MVC 5.0 (5 years) JavaScript (5 years) HTML (5 years) CSS (5 years) .NET Framework 4.0 or above (5 years) SQL Server 2012 or above including T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Views (5 years)
Preferred Skills:
- Git or BitBucket (1 year)
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (3 years)
- Crystal Reports (version XI plus 2016 and higher) (3 years)
- AWS Quicksight, SPICE, and related tools (1 year)
ASP.NET Developer Visual Basic, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL Server
