Qualifications:
Remote due to pandemic precautions. (Preferred Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA US) Silicon Valley Bank Marketing Operations team is seeking a Marketing Automation Contractor to implement marketing campaigns within our Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo). This role will work closely with aligned agile marketing teams to manage assigned campaign builds, list imports, segmentations, reporting needs, execution activities, best practice standards, and overall email and campaign troubleshooting per sprint plans. The Marketing Automation Contractor role is preferred to be based in Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA., however other remote locations in the United States may be considered.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing automation, is an experienced practitioner with hands-on experience using all aspects of Marketo.
Specific skills and experience include:
2 - 3 years marketing automation experience as power user in Marketo o Includes: Nurtures, Triggers, Custom Flows, Advanced Reporting and Data
Critical thinker who can take an abstract requirement and break it down into system logic for visualization and architecture
Working knowledge of HTML and email creation tools
Self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Detail-orientated and organized with excellent project management skills
Superior communication skills in both one-on-one consultation and one-to-many training settings
BA/BS degree
Desired Skills:
Marketo Certified Expert
General understanding of databases, and ability to manipulate and dedupe data in Excel
Hands-on experience with A/B testing
Responsibilities:
The Marketing Automation Contractor works cross-functionally to assist aligned agile teams with flawless campaign build and execution in Marketo and integrated applications
Perform list import processes and segmentations within Marketo to ensure proper audiences
Thoroughly QA campaign configurations and assets in accordance with SVB guidelines and approval processes
Project manage and complete assigned issues through SVB Marketing's project management application in accordance with established processes, SLAs, and sprint planning needs
Conduct complex troubleshooting for stakeholders to identify root cause problems, implement fixes, and propose long-term solutions to prevent future reoccurrences
Aid in adherence to compliance and data integrity rules through structured governance processes and automated capabilities
Assist with building and maintaining campaign reporting structures and data elements, through dashboards and custom reports in Marketo to aid campaign performance optimization and drive channel efficiency
Serve as a Marketo subject matter expert to assigned agile teams for troubleshooting and support of Marketo utilization
Assist on other marketing automation projects as needed by governing MOps function
