• Financial management of federal pass-through grants from the Virginia Department of Health and other types of grant funding related to our COVID-19 public health emergency response, ensuring compliance with subaward agreements and MOUs, GAAP accounting, and federal uniform guidance and other state, federal, and local requirements, regulations, and financial policies.
• Establishes and maintains supportive partnerships with nonprofits that may include training and mentoring monitoring of nonprofit partners' compliance with County subaward agreements.
• Works in collaboration with Health Department program staff in utilization of the agency's financial resources.
• Prepares invoices, analytical reports, fund statements.

Skills Required Excel

• Intermediate level - must be able to create and modify pivot tables on demand Understanding of all relevant finance functions to perform job duties

Skills Preferred

• 5+ years in a financial setting

Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
