Role- Sr. Mainframes Application Cobol-DB/2 Developer

Duration : Contract

Job Description :

• Overall 12 + years of IT experience and strong technical expertise on Mainframes, COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, CICS & batch processing.
• Strong technical expertise on Cobol and DB2 programming.
• Experience on providing application support for the legacy systems developed in COBOL and DB/2, which includes development, unit testing and maintenance Support.
• Strong technical experience on providing maintenance and production support for the Legacy mainframes applications, which includes Job Reporting, Incident and Problem management, Minor Enhancements.
• Support batch/real-time processing and batch process automation in conjunction with change management process.
• Work with customer's Mainframes/Legacy SMEs and provide support around VSAM, Sequential File processing, JCL, DB/2 querying, COBOL, CICS and batch processing.
• Monitors client Legacy jobs and escalates as necessary to IT stakeholders
