Block, Inc. seeks Mobile Engineering Manager, Cash App in Oakland CA:

Job Duties: Manage and grow a team of product-focused mobile engineers. Support the building of new, exciting functionality into an application designed to provide concrete value to our customers. Manage the inception, growth, and maintenance of the product area. Lead and participate in technical, design, and product discussions with technical partners on the team and throughout the organization. Build and maintain a world-class engineering team through hiring, coaching, and continued development. Telecommuting and remote employment permitted. Salary: $173,451.00 - $220,900.00

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in in the field of software engineering.

Special Skill Requirements: At least two (2) years of experience with each of the following: (1) Kotlin; (2) Java; (3) Android SDK and Gradle; (4) Git; (5) RxJava and Reactive Programming; (6) Android Studio; (7) Unit Testing; (8) Terminal; and, (9) XML Layout. Telecommuting and remote employment permitted.
