Appleton, WI Title: Program Manager Location: Appleton, WI Duration: 12 Month Must be willing to come onsite in the Fox Valley (Appleton, Neenah, Oshkosh, and Greater Green Bay Area), to start out the project and do occasional visits as well. Working mostly remote is an option after the initial ramp-up is complete with 1 day a week onsite. Job Summary: The New Product Development Program Manager leads the project team for the development, execution, and implementation of large-scale strategic NPD Projects. The Program Manager will lead the Cross-Functional implementation team(s) from inception to launch of a New Product Development. This role will require technical knowledge of general engineering and manufacturing practices as it will be responsible for Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closing out the project(s Job Description: Be an Agent of Change and bring Project Management techniques that will organize a company wide strategic New Product Development Project. Manage CAPEX and NRE spend and report out financial metrics Track Critical path items, rate/track risks, and prioritize work for team to focus Utilize project management tools such as MS project, Power BI, Excel, etc. to track and communicate project status Lead Cross Functional implementation team(s) Utilize project management techniques to develop project charters, budgets, risk assessments, resource plans, Gantt charts and periodic status reports The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can meet goals with minimal supervision Highly analytical in decision-making processes yet comfortable dealing with a high degree of ambiguity Communicates project expectations and plans to the project team members, leadership, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion. Must be able to travel internationally Education: BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field Certification in project management Preferred: Master with emphasis in project management Experience: Must have 10 or more years of experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager. Must have experience providing project leadership. Project management certification is a plus. 10 plus years of durable good developments
