We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Certified Nurse Aide to provide care for our Health Center residents in accordance with an established care plan and under the direction of nursing staff.
Starting wage of $14.00 / hour
Shift Details
The following shifts are available:
Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm
Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm **shift differential**
Alternating Overnights 10pm - 6am **shift differential**
Saturday - Sunday 6am - 10pm **Baylor Pay eligible**
Responsibilities
- Responds to call lights and resident needs
- Assists resident in maintaining independence in activities of daily living
- Bathes, dresses, and undresses residents.
- Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
- Assist patients with mobility
- Obtains and records vital signs, weights, input and output as needed.
- Documents care provided in the electronic medical record.
- Monitors for changes in residents are reports to nursing staff as warranted.
- Ensure cleanliness of work environment and equipment.
- Comply with all community policies and procedures, including infection prevention and control.
- Participates in all in-service programs to expand and develop abilities.
- Maintains compliance to all personnel policies, established community policies and procedures, and Federal and State regulations and standards, including but not limited to HIPAA privacy and confidentiality laws. Understands and implements the Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Plan and evacuation procedures of the community during drills and actual emergencies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as Certified Nurse Aide in Long-Term Care
- State of Oklahoma- Long Term Care Aide Certification (CNA - Certified Nurse Aide)
- High school diploma or equivalent
