Le Village Learners is a Pre-K Extension from Le Village Cowork created for parents with children in need of a traditional childcare space and kindergarten preparation for their early learner ages 3.5 to 6. Le Village Learners will be a drop off childcare that is an expansion of the original childcare and curriculum at Le Village Coworking + Care, and the parent centered programming for current and new members.Parents will have access to amenities and programming for Le Village Cowork and all facilities.

Le Village Learners will take the foundational curiosity a child is born with and build upon it. We will drive home introductions to foundational reading, writing, mathematics, world culture, and sciencebut in a way that is true to tangible learning and exploration. Our classroom is organized with structured learning and bookended by independent discovery. We will use tangible elements introduced in group play, combined with one-on-one guidance, and finally explored in quiet independence. Elements young learners are truly interested in will keep them engaged day after day. The curriculum is designed to allow Lead Teachers choice and flexibility without a lot of prep work so you can focus on being present with the little ones in your classroom.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
• 2+ years classroom experience leading group activities and working one-on-one with children ages 4-6.
• Current CPR + First-Aid Certification
• Record of up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass a background check
• Excellent attitude and proactive approach to work
