avad3 Event Production is looking for a competent, engaged Lighting Tech to work with clients and our producers on our larger events.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
An avad3 lighting technician sets up, maintains, and dismantles light fixtures, lighting control devices, and the associated lighting electrical and rigging equipment used for live productions.
The primary clients we serve are typically corporate clients who need to do a 1,000 person event with a general session and breakout sessions. We support events nationally. You can view us on social media to dig deeper into the types of events we do.

Requirements
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help plan and prepare for upcoming events as it pertains to the lighting department
- Can lead a breakout room with high event EQ and excellence
- Serves as L2 for mid-level events
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year of experience
- Thorough knowledge in DMX
- Knowledge of Artnet a plus
- Knowledge of industry lighting fixtures and how to set them up
- Basic moving light programming skills
- Hog4 and MA3 a plus

ENVIRONMENT
- Youll be planning upcoming events from our office, but for the event weeks themselves, this is an on-site role. We serve at events throughout the country.
