The role of the Materials Coordinator is responsible for analysis and controls within the Operations team. Performs a variety of tasks with the goal of ensuring our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner, and all financial and physical inventory transactions are completed on time and accurately. Well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. The Materials Coordinator must be organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations. The role will partner with both Production Leaders, Engineers, and buyer/planners to meet required deadlines and outputs to scheduling and material flow needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain, prioritize and revise master production schedule across all jobs to maximize availability to meet production capabilities with customer needs in mind

Support buyer/planners by entering and expediting POs as required

Attend daily operations meetings to provide scheduling and incoming inspection prioritization inputs

Report weekly job closure and variance data to finance team and troubleshoot issues

Work with engineers, line leads, and warehousing to prioritize job creation and closure

Help production leadership in setting priorities for strategic builds

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

o Required

Microsoft Office programs with willingness and desire to improve skills. Emphasis on Microsoft Excel capabilities

2 years of operational analytics including scheduling, KPIs, forecasting and ad-hoc reporting

o Desired

Production leadership

Knowledge of production/clean room environment as well as experience with standard manufacturing procedures and practices

Continuous improvement experience

Education

Required

o High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Desired

o Bachelors/Associate degree
