About the Role

Glorious is a lifestyle gaming hardware company, built by passionate enthusiasts on a mission to change the status quo of the PC gaming industry. Since 2014 we've provided PC gaming hardware and accessories engineered for elite-level performance, premium quality, and high-end aesthetics.

We are currently seeking a creative and experienced Post-Production Specialist to assemble raw video and audio footage into finished videos that match the marketing team's vision and are suitable for our online presence. Ultimately, you should be able to bring sight and sound together to tell a cohesive story with all of your work.

This position reports to the Multimedia Manager. The person in this role will also work cross-collaboratively with our Marketing and Sales teams.

Compensation

Hourly compensation for this role is $20-24 USD depending on knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographical location.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project briefs, shooting scripts, and raw materials in order to create videos for use on multiple platforms
• Manipulate and edit video pieces in a way that tells the story of our products
• Input music, sound effects, dialogues, motion graphics, and CTAs
• Create rough and final cuts in multiple aspect ratios
• Consult with internal stakeholders from production to post-production process
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and best practices to improve your work, internal efficiency, and the way Glorious is positioned in the market

Requirements

• United States or Canada resident with verified work authorization
• Professionally fluent in English
• Ability to either work CST hours or schedule regular overlap with CST time zone
• A creative mind and storytelling skills
• 2+ years of professional experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work
• Extensive experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. DaVinci Resolve, Blackmagic Fusion, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop)
• Experience with audio editing and basic sound design, audio level normalization, and audio clean-up
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
• Knowledge of the current industry trends in editing, motion graphics, and VFX
• Knowledge of current social media trends in relationship to video post production
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing
• The ability to take initiative and make decisions independently
• The ability to work closely with and receive feedback from others
• Experience with or an interest in PC gaming/hardware, consumer electronics, or the general technology industry is a big plus
