Payment Systems Engineer (BASE-24 & CMM)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
As a Payment Systems - System Engineer, you will oversee the design and implementation of our complex Real-time Payment solutions. Your duties will include optimizing software application performance, installing updates, and performing debugging procedures.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain CMM (Issuer and Interchange) and BASE24-eps.
Participate and support testing and installing new software releases and application system upgrades
Analyze, monitor, and fine-tune the application system to achieve optimum performance levels
Works with internal and external infrastructure teams and vendors to resolve issues with hardware and software
Work with application developers, vendors and internal infrastructure team to troubleshoot applications
Deploy of software updates/upgrades to various levels of the real-time payments application stack
Troubleshoot and analyze platform issues and message flows for our real-time payments
Participate in engineering and configuring technical solutions for applications, systems implementations and upgrades
Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability
Coordinate with engineering and QA teams to administer code migrations in production
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science
6 to 8 years of technology design, architecture, infrastructure experience or related experience.
Experience with configuring and troubleshooting development and production environments.
CMM Coding skills (C++, Cobol, Linux Scripting)
Base24-eps Installation & Support, Systems Monitoring & Administration, System Documentation, Capacity Management & Growth Analysis
Base24-eps scripting (C++ and BASE24-eps Scripting)
Strong payments knowledge including interchanges (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover, Pulse, Fiserv)
Strong knowledge in Key management and TSS
Ability to multi-task
Flexibility to accommodate different working time zones
Preferred Skills:
PostgreSQL experience
Experience with other ACI products (i.e., PRM and Asset)
Azure experience
Stellent IT LLC
