What Does a CDL Class A Driver Do? - Assists forklift operations when loading
- Verifies material are in good condition, accurately accounted for, and delivered to customer on time
- Delivers and unloads customer materials locally ensuring a superior customer experience
- Organizes and secures loads, following appropriate safety procedures
- Completes equipment safety and maintenance pre-inspections ensuring the safety and security of the loading and unloading process
- Builds positive relationships with the customers and ensures their needs are met
- Home Every night
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements What Does It Take to Successful as a CDL Class A Driver? - High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A
- Minimum 1 year CDL experience required
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
- Forklift Certification preferred
- 6 months + previous building material experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs consistently and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout work shift
- Results-oriented with ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nations Bests values.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
- Strong interpersonal skills with willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills
