Develop applications for the marketing team to pull reports of customer usage and order history with Shopify API. Conduct predictive analytics with customer's shopping data to analyze shopping trends. Migrate all websites running on Magento over to Shopify to improve user experience, performance, and achieve better analytics. Overhaul the UI for Purchase Order system to help Operations team improve placing and receiving purchase orders. Customize checkout functionality to display customer-group specific pricing to customers depending on margin percentages differing by product and vendor. Filter data to recommend products to users based on other users with similar interests using clustering/classification. Design an application to synchronize inventory across multiple Shopify instances to make real-time instantaneous updates to inventory. Design auction-based ordering system for customers to be able to place bids and purchase products. Use customer session tracking and cookie collection in designing reservation-based carts to allow customers to be able to reserve products in their cart for a set timer. Design multiple locations inventory management for websites to display products in multiple physical locations for customers to choose from. Collaborate with the UX and UI design teams to produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiences. Monitor application performance and provide support to the performance testing team by optimizing system performance. Ensure the websites adhere to SEO best practices from SEO Marketing team which includes ongoing speed enhancement and structured data management. Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience required.
