Salary: $32 $38/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time 1st Shift (6:00 AM 6:30 PM) or 2nd Shift (6:00 PM 6:30 AM) Includes nights, weekends, holidays Overtime Available

About the Role
Central Texas Recruiting is seeking experienced A&P Mechanics to support FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in hangar and ramp environments. This is a high-impact, hands-on role ideal for aviation professionals who thrive in dynamic settings and are committed to safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft systems
Ensure airworthiness through detailed inspections and accurate documentation
Complete all work in compliance with FAA regulations and internal procedures
Train and mentor fellow technicians and contractors
Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and standard operating procedures

Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Citizenship Preferred
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 4 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
MRO, CRJ airframe, or military maintenance background highly desirable

Technical Skills & Certifications:
FAA Airframe license required (A&P license preferred)
Familiarity with FAA documentation, parts catalogs, and maintenance manuals
Must meet FAA Title 14 CFR Part 65 language requirements (read/write/speak English)
Must have a complete standard aviation tool kit
Basic computer proficiency required
Ability to pass a criminal background check and FAA-compliant drug and alcohol screening
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in hangar/ramp environments
