SUMMARY
Support the producer in the delivery of needs-specific financial solutions to target market clients. Must have Life, Accident and Health license for the State of Michigan. Will be an active communication link responsible for reinforcing the client/producer relationship; accountable to be responsive to client and producer needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This individual must demonstrate a high level of initiative and ability to work interdependently with the producer and other team members. Must take the initiative to expedite requests for service in a timely manner, possess the initiative to make sound decisions in scheduling appointments and other situations requiring rapid/informed resolutions. Will review confidential financial and personal data provided by client.
Producer Support
Telephoning existing clients for appointments and reviews
Handle unsolicited calls from prospects to schedule appointments
Client correspondence
Provide producer support on cases
Prepare and understand sales illustrations
Manage producer’s strategic planning
Coordinate marketing campaigns
Basic Case Preparation Support
Client Interviewing:
- prepare for initial client interview by gathering materials needed
- assist producer in gathering information needed (ie: background and financial info)
- document client meetings and calls
Case Analysis (under producer supervision):
- contact client or client advisor to verify info needed for underwriting
- work with producer to review and analyze proposals
- run illustrations
- prepare client presentation package
- contact client to confirm schedule, gather any additional information needed and
maintain contact with the client
Implementation:
- prepare forms for producer/client signatures
- review and update client information as needed for client review meetings
- attend and participate in client meetings as needed
- manage and resolve client service problems
- initiate calls to set client review meetings and check for any changes in client status
- maintain files and records
Administrative
review work processes for potential quality improvements and efficiencies,
implement them when appropriate
plan and prioritize own work schedule
use activity to-do lists, calendars, software and other work/time management
systems

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School or equivalent
College degree in business or finance preferred
2-4 years business experience needed in the financial services industry
College degree and related skills may be substituted for related work experience
Experience working in a client service environment

Fully licensed for life, accident and health in the state of Michigan
