Perform field engineering services, which include inspections of the construction of electrical power and control systems and other related work. Coordination and observation of testing, startup, and commissioning activities. Coordination of equipment, system, and facility shutdowns. Coordinates the resolution of construction issues between the owner and contractor. Supports company business operations through development of financial reports and business analytics. Supports company business development and sales campaigns through the development of marketing strategies and proposals. Assist with preparation of statements of qualifications regarding professional engineering, construction inspection and management and materials testing, as needed. Create new and lucid spreadsheets to simplify design process to be reviewed and used by lead professional engineers for construction inspection, management, and materials testing for final design. Write technical reports to be furnished to clients and/or city officials addressing engineering problems and potential solutions, when necessary’. Develop and manage scope and assist with handling of client relationships on assigned projects under guidance. Interact with clients to explain design approaches, materials testing results, and principles for economic design solutions to be used on projects. Assist with schedule and budgets for projects and in the develop of cost estimates. Conduct feasibility research on proposals from clients, document analysis and present to management for cost, and determine if projects can move forward. Assist in the development or implementation of engineering solutions. Identify environment risks and develop risk management strategies for ongoing projects and managing project activities. Coordinating, managing and supporting construction team with technical support.
Requirements: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering; Civil Engineering or a closely related field or foreign equivalent plus 36 months of experience in the job offered and 3 years of experience in coordinating and supporting construction team with technical support. Commercial Electrical Inspector Certificate from the International Code Council (ICC) is required.
