Manage international patent litigation matters/cases, including case status evaluation, risk assessment, and strategy planning. Lead patent licensing and acquisition negotiations. Review and analyze relevant patent license/purchase agreements and proposals. Collaborate with team members to create and implement patent licensing strategies and best practices for the company, including patent valuation methodologies and FRAND licensing strategies for standard essential patents. Perform inbound patent licensing due diligence. Assess technical relevance and risk profile of patent portfolios, and scope, strength, applicability and validity of critical patents. Formulate negotiation strategies with legal and technical team members.
