Responsible for leading all sales management functions of a regional sales team of 7 Fabrication Specialists to achieve assigned goals by applying knowledge of fabrication equipment including CNC punch presses, punch/laser combinations, press brakes tooling, punch press tooling, and lasers and their operation. Creates and implements strategic sales plans to achieve regional and corporate goals. Prioritizes Fabrication Specialist development across skills and knowledge. Monitors key activity metrics including appointment counts, customer buying counts, quote generation, customer buying percentages, product segment sales, and CRM use. Provides regular reporting of key account activities, sales win/losses, and competitive updates. Develops and implements tailored strategies to grow market and key customer share. Directs channel development activity to ensure goals are met in direct, dealer, and OEM channels. Delivers sales presentations to key customers in coordination with Fabrication Specialists. Meets with key customers, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing projects. Maintains a strong relationship with field personnel of Mate’s channel partners. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition. Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product. Maintains a strong network of industry professionals to share opportunities and sell jointly. Diagnose and make recommendations to solve customer fabrication problems. Conduct customer audits to monetize opportunities for labor and material reductions and increased productivity.

Requirements: Vocational HS Diploma with a specialization in Metal Fabrication or related or foreign equivalent plus 72 months of experience in the job offered and 6 years of experience in managing a fabrication department, in using fabrication equipment including CNC punch presses, punch laser combinations, press brakes and lasers and their operation and in selling punch press tooling, press brake tooling, laser consumables within the sheet metal fabrication industry.
