Responsible for effectively managing the construction of a Fiber Optics (FTTx) across rural USA. Assisting the Project Director and General Foreman in resource allocation and leveling for 10-12 crews. Tracking crew productivity against KPIs. Establishing relations with internal and external stakeholders to manage project timelines, punch lists, permits and QA.
Emphasizing on safety by monitoring Task Hazard Analysis sheets & safety logs. Facilitating crew safety shares weekly. Supporting the material manager with inventory and tracking of construction material, tooling and PPE. Working with project coordinators to ensure timely document management and submittals. Updating the construction schedule with 10m line items using Microsoft Project Professional. Elucidating engineering drawings, specifications & construction maps to construction crews using ArcGIS. Supporting the material management with inventory and tracking of construction material, tooling and PPE. Assisting the fleet manager with equipment tracking, maintenance and repairs using Verizon Spotlight.
Communicating with co-op members & MISS DIG officials to mitigate on-site escalations and property damages. Initiating and tracking RFIs. Ensuring timely closeout of various phases of the fiber build.

Requirements: Master degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering or a closely related field + (6) months of experience in the job offered and (6) months of experience in using ArcGIS and in Updating the construction schedule using Microsoft Project Professional.
