Salary Negotiable...ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT career position open in Birmingham Troy, MI. location.
Performing client service and administrative duties, this position supports the teams working in the insurance divisions of our company. Will be responsive to assistant and producer needs and an active communication link responsible for reinforcing the client/producer relationship.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This individual must demonstrate a high level of initiative and ability to work independently and with the other team members. Must address tasks in a timely manner, possess the initiative to make sound decisions with rapid/informed resolutions. Will review confidential financial and personal client data.
Answer and field incoming calls from clients and vendors
Data entry and setup of prospective clients in CRM system
Review and update client information in CRM system
Maintain files and records
Utilize activity to-do lists, calendars, software, and other work/time management systems
Plan and prioritize own work schedule
Submit documentation and requests to the insurance carrier
Document client communications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School or equivalent
College degree in business or finance preferred
2-4 years business experience in the insurance industry
College degree and related skills may be substituted for related work experience
Experience working in a client service environment
