We have partnered with a large food manufacturing company in the Vernon, CA area to provide them with a Chief Brand Officer.

The Chief Brand Officer will be responsible for overseeing a companyís overall advertising and sales strategy. Duties include developing the structure of the businessís marketing department, approving marketing campaign ideas, and coordinating marketing efforts with the companyís financial and branding goals.

Responsibilities of the Chief Brand Officer:

Provide strategic counsel along the purpose spectrum (from supply chain to consumer marketing) and across multiple brands and issues
Assist in the launch of new products, work with partners, and communicate the value of our products
Developed a comprehensive marketing strategy with a strong focus on brand building
Leverage Account Based Marketing to grow revenue
Build and maintain systems and processes to track and report on key performance metrics, and use this data to optimize marketing strategies and improve performance
Manage, inspire, and professionally develop a team of marketers across brand, demand generation, content marketing, partner marketing, public and analyst relations and events
Collaborate with account and creative teams to effectively integrate purpose into creative and activation plans and ensure successful implementation
Build strong and lasting relationships with purpose and sustainability clients, act as a strong counsellor and advisor across brands and clients
Display presentation skills and convey expertise in presenting to clients
Identify opportunities to develop business with existing clients, resource projects, make growth projections, identify staff and talent needs
Work with account teams to ensure optimal operational and financial performance, ensuring quality work and client requests are handled in timely and strategic fashion

Requirements of the Chief Brand Officer:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
MBA or relevant work experience
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in communications and public relations
Experience designing and implementing communications, engagement strategies in complex food & beverage organizations that cross corporate, brand, R&D and brand across diverse stakeholder and leadership groups
Experience, knowledge, and interest in the methods used to promote the Company through social media marketing
Ability to travel as needed
Strong business acumen and familiarity with the food supply chain and CPG food
Set KPIs and manage stakeholder engagement, thought leadership, executive visibility, newsroom, and traditional media relations programs to exceed expectations
Demonstrates excellent writing, editing, and presentation-development skills; project management skills
Ability to derive clarity out of ambiguous situations
Possesses strong understanding of how to communicate with teams
Solid knowledge of industry best and emerging practices
