Review and develop Luxy’s information systems technology for effective functioning of Luxy systems; Assist with enhancements and development to Luxy’s proprietary system and platform using AWS hosting, Nodejs running on AWS ec2 using Ubuntu/Linux, infrastructure deployments via docker instances, react and react native, PostgresSQL hostel on AWS RDS, Firebase for push notifications to devices, AWS cloud watch, Jenkins hosted on AWS deployment environment, and others; Ensure the Luxy system supports the booking engine to match guests seeking rides with cars, identify glitches in systems, and remove bugs, as needed; Implement new software systems and processes to ensure efficient flow of information from Luxy application; Investigate the company’s software code and determine repairs to the software systems and code; Assist with detailed system design documents to portray high-level and low-level business requirements; Integrate various information systems and data, devise backup integration plans and research new integration techniques to optimize performance of system; Suggest and write new code associated with the interaction between various systems, databases, indexes, and customer input metric in order to optimize the efficiency of the code and minimize software errors; Observe the various areas and functional interactions of the systems code and determine corrective actions; Develop and automate reports utilizing multiple database queries linked to software system (using XML and other interactive linking tools such as LINQ); Develop systems test cases, test data preparation, execute functional and non-functional test cases, integration testing, regression testing, log defects, issues, etc. to ensure system is functioning effectively; Analyze data processing issues to implement and improve the computer system; Utilize computer systems methodologies in data analysis, systems design and software development to ensure effective functioning of system in conformance with specifications; Review computer systems functionalities, capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations; Interact with licensed business intelligence software in an elastic cloud environment licensed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) used by the company;
Create and deploy various systems and database objects including function, views and storing procedures utilizing Agile development techniques, SQL Service Integration, Java, Database administration, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Webservices APIs and JIRA, among others related systems; Participate in functional and technical discussions regarding requirements, customizations and systems upgrades.

Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications or related or foreign equivalent plus twenty four (24) months of experience in the job offered and twenty four months of experience in the use of Webservcies APIs , Oracle, Java & MS SQL server; Database administration
